Lastest Polar

Here's some pictures of my lastest polar bear, Donald, that i finished yesterday. I've had to change the mohair I make him out of ( because the other one I used was discontinued) and this one was the only one I could find that was in any way suitable, so he's a little different now light beige instead of being white. I actually like it more, a lover of old things and Polar ( my old steiff polar bear) who Donald's inspired by isn't actually white at all either. I've also made some slight adjustments to the pattern, and I'm almost happy with him.

Magnet love

Some magnets I've made from an old wooden puzzle and some sort of Noddy game found at the oppy. It's super easy. I got this magnetic strip which is like tape from Spotlight and you just cut bits off and peel and stick them on.

on some more ... if you'd like

someone is not so sure what I've done to her.

Getting there.

So I've moved. And after being horrified how someone of 28 years old could have so much stuff, locking myself out in my nightie the first morning and having to break a window to get back in and a cat suffering depression, I'm settling in. ANd it's lovely, although it's not really feel like my home yet.
I've been off line as well too which always makes me feel a little strange, out of contact with the world in some way. And as far as the unpacking goes, I'm getting there, I still have one horrific room, the dumping room, but the kitchen and lounge room are looking quite settled and so is my bedroom ( although to be honest it's frightening neat). And I'm loving the decorating bit ( just not the unpacking bit) , with my bits and my bears, and mantlepieces as you can tell.

On my desk(s)- a day late.

On what will be my desk...

And on my makeshift desk ( dining table)
For more on my desk visit the wonderful Kirsty.

PS

Speaking of finally doing things, I've moved.

And there you have it.

Finally my new bear, who I've named Colin ( after you know who) is finished. I'm still having some little issues about him, and am already thinking of what I can change next time.... I think he might be Ok. I dunno it's hard for me to be the judge, because well I feel a little disapointed in myself that he is isn't better.
Colin is a 13" tall, fully jointed mohair bear, a traditional style bear. He's based off /inspired by old steiff bear Gus
